Free Certificate Course on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) – 2nd Semester 2025
The Commission on Human Rights (CHR), through the Human Rights Institute (HRI), proudly opens enrollment for the Specialized Course on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) for the 2nd Semester of 2025. This free certificate course runs from November 3 to 7, 2025, and includes comprehensive lectures, learning videos, and reading materials accessible to participants beginning November 3 at 10:00 AM. The program aims to deepen understanding of the laws of armed conflict, humanitarian protection, and the ethical responsibilities of professionals working in justice, education, and social service sectors.
Open to 250 Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs), 250 Registered Criminologists (RCRIMs), 250 Registered Social Workers (RSWs), and 250 participants from the general public, this course offers Applied CPD Units recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). A Rationalization Session will cap the program on November 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM via Zoom, facilitated by Ms. Anida “Pen” Maniri, LPT. Participants will receive a certificate of completion, making this a valuable opportunity for professionals seeking both knowledge enhancement and continuing professional development.

The valid certificate code is an alphanumeric series found on the bottom left portion of any general course certificates: Human Rights 101, and Right to Health. Entries other than a valid certificate code will not be accepted and enrollment will be deemed unsuccessful.
