2023 ASEAN Teachers' BootCamp | Free International Training for Educators

In this post, we are delighted to share with you another Free International Training for Teachers with e-Certificate of Participation. 

It's finally here! The 2023 ASEAN Teachers' BootCamp "Media and Information Literacy - Building Resilience for the Futures of Learning" application is now open!


This Bootcamp, hosted by the Media and Information Literacy Asean Network, will bring together teachers from five ASEAN member countries to learn about media and information literacy and how it can be integrated into classrooms.

Equip yourself with MIL skills, competencies, transformational knowledge, and ASEAN teachers' networks that will help prepare our future generations to become critical media and information consumers and empowered global citizens.

Eligible participants:

✅Citizens of: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand;

✅In-service primary or secondary school teachers, school administrators or officers of public or private schools, teacher educators in institutions or education officers involved in curriculum planning or supervision;

✅Committed to participate in all program components during the three days of the Virtual Bootcamp on 8-10 February 2023, via Zoom; and

✅Selected participants will be invited to attend the program, including the pre-BootCamp virtual networking activity (February 2023) and the BootCamp (8 – 10 February 2023).


The ASEAN Teachers' BootCamp is FULLY-FUNDED by the U.S. Department of State under the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2022 and the U.S. Embassy Kuala Lumpur.

Application deadline: 5 December 2022.

**The team from ASEAN MIL Network will evaluate each application thoroughly and narrow down the pool of applicants. Final selections will be conducted by our local implementing partners. 100 teacher participants from five ASEAN member countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand) will be selected without regard to gender, race, religion, ethnic background, marital status, or financial need. All submitted application information will be treated as confidential unless stated otherwise in the application.
