JUST IN! Here's the latest update on the OPENING OF CLASSES FOR SCHOOL YEAR (S.Y.) 2021-2022 .

OPENING OF CLASSES FOR SCHOOL YEAR (S.Y.) 2021-2022.

This is a request for the President to approve the recommendation of moving the start of S.Y. 2021-2022 to 13 September 2021, without prejudice to the earlier opening of classes of private schools and non-DepEd public schools. The present school year is scheduled to end on 10 July 2020 pursuant to DepEd Order No. 12 (s. 2021). 

Scheduling the opening of classes to 13 September 2021 will provide more time for the students, parents, and the DepEd to prepare for the new school year.

At the opening of Teaching Year 2021-2022
July 16, 2021-The Department of Education (DepEd) informs that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has approved September 13, 2021 as the first day of the Year of Education 2021-2022, from the recommended dates of DepEd Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones.
We extend our gratitude to the President for his full support in delivering quality education in the coming year of blended learning form.

We will be releasing the school calendar for SY 2021-2022 soon. We hope for continued solidarity and support of our stakeholders as we prepare for new challenges but very important steps to educate our youth in the midst of a global health crisis.
