DEPED: 2021 STANDARDS IN THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION, APPRECIATION, AND PARTICIPATION

STANDARDS IN THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION, APPRECIATION, AND PARTICIPATION

1. In compliance with DepEd Order No. 30, s. 2019, re: Department of Education Service Marks and Visual Identity Manual, the field is hereby informed of the standard formats and templates for certificates of recognition, appreciation, participation, appearance. (Please see attached templates.)

2. Likewise, this Office announces the Division guidelines in the issuance of certificates of recognition, appreciation, and participation.

Recognition. The certificate of recognition shall be presented to people who have worked and contributed efforts in attaining best practices leading to improved performance in the entire division, unit or school.

Appreciation. The certificate of appreciation shall be given to persons who have performed/contributed in the implementation of a particular activity, project or program in the entire division, unit or school.

Participation. The certificate of participation shall be given to a person who has actively participated in seminars, workshops, conferences, and others. The certificate shall reflect the number of hours.

3. The certificate of appreciation shall also be given to teaching or non-teaching personnel who have rendered services outside his/her KRA and/or beyond official time.

4. In addition, to ensure issuance of appropriate certificate for division initiated activities, proponent shall submit a copy of Activity Design or Matrix of Activities to the Division Evaluation Committee.
