Philippine Language Commission, Exemplary Filipino Teacher for 2021 Contest

The annual contest for Exemplary Filipino Teacher by the Philippine Language Commission, announces that they are now accepting nominations and applications for the said event.

According to the KWF, the nomination is open for teachers who teach in the Filipino language or any indigenous language and researchers or who have the initiative to adopt Filipino as the language of instruction now with the pandemic. 

The competition is also open to teachers who teach in Filipino in any subject. “The Filipino Language Commission is reopening the Filipino Model Teacher Award 2021. The competition is open to all teachers who teach in the Filipino language and / or other indigenous languages ​​as a medium of instruction in any subject or discipline, from elementary to tertiary, even to the Directors of the Language and Culture Center (SWK), except for the KWF staff and their relatives up to the second degree, ”KWF said on its Facebook page.

The deadline for submitting nominations / applications is 1 June 2021.
