DAY 5 SESSION | EVALUATION FORM ON DICT EXCEL AUTOMATION WITH VBA FREE WEBINAR FOR TEACHERS

Today, August 20, 2021 is the Day 5 (Last) Session of the 5-Day Free Webinar for Teachers on Excel Automation with the use of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

So, we hope that from Day 1 - Day 4 you have gained more knowledge already in using the VBA to automate your repetitive tasks in Microsoft Excel and on the last session expect to learn more from the resource person.

Here are the short recap/takeaways from Day 1 - Day 4: 

Day 1 Takeaways:

  • We learned what is the meaning of  Macro/s.
  • We learned what is the purpose or functions of VBA.
  • We learned how to activate/record Macros.
  • We learned how view or enable the Excel Developer Tab
  • We learned how to save Macro-Enabled Workbook or Excel File
Day 2 Takeaways:

  • We learned how to open the Recorded Macros through the Visual Basic Editor or code window.
  • We learned the different parts of the Visual Basic Editor/ IDE
  • We learned how to create our first VBA codes 
  • We learned the elements of the VBA codes (property, style, value, formula and the font)
  • We learned the various data types in VBA programming
  • We learned how to declare variables in VBA programming
Day 3 Takeaways:

  • Continuation of the VBA variables syntax, how it being used or declare in the program.
  • We learned, how to declare a static variables. In computer programming, static variable is a variable that has been allocated "statically", meaning that its lifetime is the entire run of the program.
Day 4 Takeaways:
  • Our main takeaways for the day is that we learned how code the MsgBox functions and Input Box, a very exciting features of VBA.

So, lets all watch again and learn more about the VBA in automating your work in MS Excel.
